In yesterday's blog, in an effort to breathe a little life into some tired old terms, I defined a few words you may use in discipling another person. Here are six more words:
Debriefing - A post-experience conversation asking, "What happened?" and "What did you learn?" and "How will you change?"
Spiritual Fathering - The masculine brand of discipleship featuring more of an emphasis on challenge (as opposed to nurture) than discipleship as practiced by the opposite sex.
Initiation - A formal and partially scripted stage in the awakening process.
Spiritual Inheritance - The piece of the Kingdom of God that God wants to use you to help awaken.
Salvation - The Immigration room to the Kingdom of God where most Christians pitch their tent and live.
Spiritual Adventure - The process of learning to see reality with the eyes of your heart and committing to that reality.
